Life Story for Shirley M. Dalton

SHIRLEY M. DALTON, 83 years of Belcamp, MD, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019. She was the beloved wife for 46 years of the late Bill F. Dalton who died in 1998.

Born on February 16, 1936 in Ceres, VA, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Mamie (Bevel) Spangler. Shirley had lived in Harford/Cecil Counties since 1959, moving from VA with her late husband. She had worked for several companies including Old Line Plastics in the Rock Spring area of Harford County, retiring from Maryland Lava in Dublin. She had been a member of the NRA (National Rifle Association) the ACLJ (American Center for Law and Justice) loved politics and was a proud Republican.

Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Most of all, she will be remembered for being a devout Christian, loving her Lord, faithful to His church and generous in her donations. She had worshipped at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Forest Hill, MD and most recently the Bay Church of North East, MD.

She is survived by:

Frankie Lee Dalton of Street, MD
Linda Sebring of Conowingo, MD
Robert L. Dalton of Bel Air, MD
Charlotte Lee of Street, MD

Twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by
Two children-Paul Greg Dalton and Billy Dale Dalton
Two grandchildren-Robin Long and Bobby Dalton

Graveside services will be held in the Devotions Section of Bel Air Memorial Gardens, 809 Rock Spring Road, Bel Air, MD on Monday, June 17, 2019 at 11 a.m. Please gather at the graveside for the service.
Pastor William Morann will officiate.
