DAVID ANTHONY KING, 57, of Delta, PA, died on Monday, January 28, 2019 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, MD. Born July 28, 1961, he was the son of the late Jesse Carl and Ruth Elizabeth (Whitley) King. Known to many, David was the owner and operator of King’s Auto Service, Delta, PA. A love for music, he was a singer in his band called “Back Bone" and enjoyed listening to music groups like Johnny Cash and Lynyrd Skynyrd. A need for speed, he loved riding his Harley Davidson any chance he got.

David’s family commented “he had an infectious personality.”

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 6 to 7 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA 17314, followed immediately by a Candle Lighting service with Jim Backert presiding. Funeral staff will be located outside to assist with parking and handicap needs. There will be no public inurnment.
