Life Story for Constance Thelma Baker

CONSTANCE THELMA BAKER, 79 of Delta, PA died on Friday, January 18, 2019 in her home. Married on February 2, 1957, she had shared 61 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Stephen Baker.

Born on November 25, 1939 in Bowie, MD, she was a daughter of the late Albert Newton and Mary Bessie (Durling) Smith and had worked as a technician for the former Westinghouse Corporation that was later acquired by American Technology Corporation in Baltimore. A longtime resident of Delta, she and her family had originally lived in Baltimore. Mrs. Baker enjoyed camping, traveling-especially to the Bahamas. During her visits to the shore, she would collect shells and sand to create artistic projects upon her return home. Her family commented that she enjoyed gardening and was a loving wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Stephen Thomas Baker, Christopher Charles Baker and a grandson, Stephen Thomas Baker, III
