Life Story for Diann Laverne Reynolds

DIANN LAVERNE REYNOLDS Obituary written by her loving family
“Mother Goose”, 57 years of Airville, PA. Born March 10, 1961. Passed on Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community, Quarryville, PA. Diann was the daughter of the late Robert Reynolds and late Betty (Wright) Reynolds, stepdaughter of Everett Sharp of Webster, WV. Diann was the companion of Junior Brown of Fawn Grove, PA for 41 years. She is also survived by four children: Juanita Reynolds of Stewartstown, PA, Joshua Brown of Airville, PA, Jennifer and fiancé Brian Caldwell of Delta, PA and Jason Brown of Airville, PA, five grandchildren: Owen Caldwell, Quade Reynolds, Tierney Brown, Jason Brown Jr. and Leila Reynolds. Seven siblings; the late Kathy Bradley, Jerry Reynolds, Vicky Reynolds, Peggy Reynolds, Tammy Reynolds, Sandra Granruth and Mark Reynolds as well as many nieces and nephews.

A love for outdoors, Diann enjoyed swimming at the river, sunbathing at the beach, kayaking and hiking with all the grandkids. She loved flowers and enjoyed the company of her chickens and her big baby, Rocky the dog. Diann loved to bake and have cookouts. She enjoyed time with her best friends, talking on the phone with Emily Brown and drinking hot coffee with Irene Cochran. She loved shopping with Holly and Katie McCaddin, but most of all spending time with her grandkids meant the world to her.

“Mother Goose” was the most amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend; she was like a second mother to many. She was hard headed, but had a heart of gold. Diann always had her arms wide open when people needed her the most. She never judged; she always accepted people for who they were no matter what. She was loved very much and will be missed by many.
