Bonita F.  Adams
BONITA F. ADAMS, 77 of the Rocks Area of Jarrettsville, MD, died on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 in Seasons Hospice, Franklin Square Hospital of Baltimore, MD. Married on January 24, 1959, she was the beloved wife of Allen J. Adams for nearly 60 years.

Born on January 18, 1941 in Mooresville, NC, she was a daughter of the late Eddie Sims and Ila Mae (Wallace) Sims and moved to Maryland when she married Allen. A longtime employee of the former Charles L. Lutz, Inc. appliance store in Bel Air, MD, she had been employed as the store office manager. Strong in her faith and loving her Lord, Bonita and her husband attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Bel Air, MD. She felt her mission in life was to reach out to all in need and felt close to the Lord especially at the beach, was as an avid reader and enjoyed quiet time with scripture.

A love for music, she and her husband enjoyed dancing, having the entire family over for holidays and dinners. Her family commented that she will be remembered for her love of flowers, her devotion to family and to her beloved dog, Tucker.

A brother, Bob A. Sims of Travelers Rest, SC and his daughter, Terri Jones of Landis NC

Thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren

She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles E. Sims.

Services will be held at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA with a viewing on Monday evening, December 17th from 6 to 8 p.m. followed with the funeral service on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Her son-in-law, Pastor Donald Klapka will officiate. Interment will follow in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
