My mom, Louise McCrabb Rutledge, Bertha, Edith Wise and Janet Hoke were a foursome of friends at Delta HS. They dubbed themselves the JABELOED club with the first 2 letters of each name. My mother died May 2nd of this year. Bert Iwas the last to go. So, the JABE club has now been reunited. Coincidentally, we buried mom's ashes in Delta this past Saturday, the day before Bert died. Fond menories of her since I knew all four as they kept in touch to the end of their lives.
