Evelyn Hope  Scarborough
EVELYN HOPE HAMILTON SCARBOROUGH, 95 years of Shoemakersville, PA, died on Friday, December 1, 2017 in in her home. She was the wife of the late David S. Scarborough.

Born on September 29, 1922 in the District of Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Alice (Akers) Hamilton. Mrs. Scarborough was an active member of the Harford Choral Society for many years and was a member of the Churchville Presbyterian Church Choir. She enjoyed the years she served as a dedicated employee of Harford Memorial Hospital. In addition to her hospital employment, she gave comfort to elders as a private aide. Mrs. Scarborough also enjoyed knitting, reading and spending time with family and friends. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who took great joy in being with her family and friends.

David L. Scarborough of Darlington, MD
Gerald E. Scarborough of Street, MD
Timothy S. Scarborough of Palm Coast, FL

Mrs. Scarborough was preceded in death by her brothers, Russel, Robert and William Hamilton and two sisters, Alice Hamilton Hawkins and Elizabeth Hamilton Paulson.

Services will be private.
