Life Story for Renee C. Day

Renee C.  Day
RENEE C. DAY, 82 years of Whiteford, MD, passed away on Tuesday August 15, 2017 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Renee was the beloved wife of William Allen Day and at the time of his death in April 2013, they had shared 63 years of marriage.

Born on January 19, 1935 in Renfrewshire, England, she was the daughter of the late Daniel F. and Catherine (Findlay) Elliot, fell head over heels for an American soldier and brought her to a new home in America. Retiring in 1995, Renee worked for many years for the Harford County Board of Education at the former Slate Ridge Elementary School and North Harford High School. Along with spending time with her loved ones, she was very artistic especially when it came to crocheting and painting.

Four great-grandchildren: Shawn Michael Cochran, Brianna M. Cochran, Tessa Renee Cochran, Elijah Greenwood

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA 17314 where the funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. Interment will be in Highview Memorial Gardens, Fallston, MD.
