Obituary for Frances Ellen Brinegar
FRANCES ELLEN BRINEGAR, age 81 years, of Jarrettsville, MD died at 7:25 p.m. on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. She was the wife of the late Gladys Brinegar who died on July 8, 2004.
Mrs. Brinegar was born in Sparta, Alleghany County, NC, a daughter of the late Harvey Isom and Eura Johnson Crouse. She worked for over 60 years as the office manager at Brinegar Masonry Contractors, the business which she and her late husband owned. Mrs. Brinegar was an avid gardener and reader.
She is survived by:
Four children: Kathey Ellen Brinegar Wyatt of Wilkesboro, NC
Mark Stephanson Brinegar and his wife, Mary of Elkridge, MD
Mary Ann Brinegar Cox and her husband, Jeffrey of Delta, PA
Timothy Dale Brinegar of Jarrettsville, MD
Seven grandchildren: Chris Wyatt, Melissa Call, Stephanie Brinegar, Kenny Brinegar, Nichole Garratano, Jeffrey Cox and Holly Cox.
She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Two brothers: Harvey Raymond Crouse and James Reeves Crouse, both of Sparta, NC
She was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Gladys Brinegar, her twin sister, Victoria Pruitt and her brothers, Ralph, Clay and Homer Crouse.
The viewing will be on Wednesday, July 12 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St., Delta, PA.
The funeral service will follow at 12p.m.
Interment will be in Highview Memorial Gardens, Fallston, MD
