Obituary for Beverly C. Wilson

Beverly C.  Wilson
BEVERLY C. WILSON, 80 years of Delta, PA, died on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. Married 61 years, she was the loving wife of James D. Wilson. Born on January 14, 1937 in Pylesville, MD, Beverly was a daughter of the late Gerald and Alice Marie (Rowley) Eaton and was a graduate of the fifth class of the North Harford High School in 1955.

Beverly was devoted to her community. She was continuously involved in the activities of the Delta Senior Center, St. Mary’s Catholic Parish and the Delta-Cardiff Vol. Fire Department, riding ambulance and participating in the Ladies Auxiliary. She volunteered for the Delta Carnival and the Mason Dixon Fair. Beverly was the Slate Ridge Elementary School Secretary and a teacher’s aide at the North Harford Elementary School. She was an avid quilter, gardener, enjoyed an occasional glass of red wine with ice and a good Alan Jackson song. She will be missed for her helpful spirit, always willing to lend a hand.

In addition to her husband, Beverly is survived by;
Three children-
Robin C. Turner of Felton, PA
Lisa M. Wagg and her husband, David ‘Doc’ of York, PA
Gerald D. Wilson of Delta, PA

Nine grandchildren-
Ryan S. Fox, Lydia C. Buchanan, Sheena M. Greek, Gavin B. Jones, Stephen C. Baldwin, Jr.; Victoria A. Baldwin, Sophia C. Wilson, Josiah J. Wilson, Isaiah V. Wilson

Five great grandchildren-
Cadan B. Jones, Haley C. Buchanan, Seth E. Buchanan, Jameson B. Jones, and Baby Greek soon to arrive.

Viewings will be held Monday, April 10, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. in Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main St. Delta, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, April 11 at 10 a.m. in the St. Mary’s Catholic Parish, 1021 St. Mary's Rd, Pylesville, MD 21132. Reverend A. Henry Kunkel, III will be the celebrant. Interment will immediately follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Parish at the above address, Delta-Cardiff Vol. Fire Company, P.O. Box 15, Delta, PA 7314, or Delta Senior Center, 5 Pendyrus St. Delta, PA 17314.
